Cultural Awareness and Allyship with Muslim, Arab and/or Middle Eastern People - A CRC - ON DEMAND

Description
Not all Arab people are Muslim, and fewer than 15% of the world's Muslims are Arab, but Islamophobia is inextricably mixed up with the experience of being Arab or Middle Eastern in the US. Also, designations of Arab, Middle Eastern, Persian, Turkish, North African, Egyptian, various nationalities, and others have complex interrelationships, and most people from Southwest Asia and North Africa would self-identify with some of these terms and reject others. This course helps understand the identity and lived experience of Arab, Arab-American and Middle Eastern and/or Muslim people in the US, and includes ways to demonstrate respect, allyship and inclusion.

This training is eligible for 3 CEU hours, but only if you spend 3 hours on it! If you need a CEUs certificate for this course, please make sure you have indicated that you need CEUs and included your license number in your user profile info. Certificates are generally sent to the email listed in your user profile once a month.
