What do we mean when we say "Person First Language?" How do we do it and when? This training covers the basics about what PFL is, and when we need to use it, and when we might consider identity first language or another way of referring to someone. We also cover other principles of how to be positive, respectful, and empowering with the language we use.

This training is eligible for 1.5 CEU hours. If you need a CEUs certificate for this course, please make sure you have indicated that you need CEUs and included your license number in your user profile info. Certificates are generally sent to the email listed in your user profile once a month.
